Project Manager with experience level 10 to 15 years only into IT infra

The Project Manager for R&D IT will be responsible to manage one of our critical time bound IT programs.

The program manager will need to drive the program by coordinating with multiple teams in IT organization and business organizations outside IT. This program is critical to execute Client IT strategy. The role demands to plan various deliverables of the program and execute those and regularly report out to the program steering board.

The role reports to R&D IT Design Infrastructure PMO Manager and will partner closely with all IT organization top/mid leadership, design enablement and business management.

Requirements

Education, Experience, and skills
. Extensive experience in a project management and having been responsible for start and completion of mid to large-sized projects.
. Experience working with a complex stakeholder landscape is preferred (e.g. acting as trusted advisor and thought partner to senior managers and/or executives).
. Bachelors or Masters in computer science is preferred.
. Certifications in PMP, SAFe , Agile and Scrum will help

Job Responsibilities

The Project Manager for R&D IT will be responsible to manage one of our critical time bound IT programs.

The program manager will need to drive the program by coordinating with multiple teams in IT organization and business organizations outside IT. This program is critical to execute Client IT strategy. The role demands to plan various deliverables of the program and execute those and regularly report out to the program steering board.

He/She will also be responsible for communication with the stakeholders.
The role reports to R&D IT Design Infrastructure PMO Manager and will partner closely with all IT organization top/mid leadership, design enablement and business management.
Key Responsibilities:
. Define program governance and reporting structure.
. Document Program brief and approval by board (scope, goals, deliverables, milestone, risks)
. Requirements elicitation, analysis and scoping for the implementation of infrastructure solutions and supplementary projects to align with best practices.
. Planning and execution, Coordination with tracks, Collaboration with DevOps teams (virtual resources)
. Proactively manage issues and mitigate risks to enable projects to stay on time, within budget, and with expected scope
. Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
. Manage the execution plan for all deliverables.
. Provide updates to the stakeholders and program steering board.
. Manage cost estimates and track the spend to stay within budget.
