Role Description

Purpose of the job:

Composites is one of the products of NMB division. The Supply Chain model for this product is a Asset Light Model, where product is manufactured through vendor partners. We have approx. 10 manufacturing partners with whom we are working on exclusive/non-exclusive basis. Head Supply Chain & Ops is a crucial position, who will be In-Charge of complete supply side. He/She will be responsible for production planning & execution. Besides this, He will need to coordinate with manufacturing partners/ marketing & sales/ customer/ quality assurance. Other than product, we are also providing installation services to our customers. This role will also be responsible for planning & execution of installation services at customer sites.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Finalize Production & Installation targets by detailing monthly production & execution plan for each Vendor Partner based on the ABP.
  • Arrange weekly meetings with Vendor Partners & SC team for Production & Execution updates
  • Coordinate with Head Quality on new quality requirements for upcoming projects & orders
  • Coordinate with Head Quality on quality issues for running projects & orders
  • Finalize and implement ISO Internal & External audits along with TQM team
  • Lead Kick off meetings for new Projects for Production and Site related activities.
  • Have Monthly meetings with Vendor partners on performance and target setting and requirements
  • Lead Estimation team on costing of each product and services provided.
  • Ensure Smooth Billing and despatches are planned and executed each month as per the ABP requirements
  • Interact with customers and M& S team for supply status as and when required
  • Finalise contract with vendor partners

Resolve issues of Vendor Partners for smooth operations

Skills

Technical Competence

  • Knowledge of Composites Production Process
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management
  • Having experience in handling Site Operations & Planning
  • Knowledge of MS Office

Knowledge of SAP & MES

Work experience in Composite production and Site Operations.

Should possess good knowledge in Estimation and Costing of products/ Site Work

Candidates should have at least 10-15 years of experience in the field of Thermoset & Thermoplastic Composites.

Other Details

B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical/materials/polymer science OR M.Tech./ MBA (Operations / Supply Chain is preferable)
