Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Controller who will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of our hospital. The Finance Controller will be a fully Qualified Chartered Accountant, who will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the Organization through effective planning, monitoring, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities to optimize financial resources and minimize risk.
• Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives, business development opportunities, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  
  

Educational Requirements

• A Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is mandatory.
• Degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the hospital or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
