Engineering Diploma Trainee

You will be working as Engineering Diploma Trainee at global grade 16 and will be part of IEC - LV Motors for Motion Division based in Faridabad, India. In this role you will be reporting to the Team Lead - R&D Engineering. You will be responsible for electrical engineering activities for motors & generators to effectively achieve objectives.

Your responsibilities

• Utilizing 3D modeling and detailing to create mechanical designs incorporating GD&T and drawing codes and practices.
• Preparing BOM in SAP for standard and non-standard motors.
• Performing tolerance and mechanical stress analysis.
• Supporting mechanical designs for New Product Introductions.
• Addressing manufacturing concerns or questions related to mechanical designs and/or bill of materials.
• Providing feedback and solutions to project managers and project engineers to meet customer needs.
• Creating and maintaining Item IDs, Modules, BOMs in Team center.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to drive improvements in efficiency, quality and/or customer satisfaction.
• Providing feedback for improvement and maintenance of the respective engineering tools and systems (i.e. symbol libraries, guidelines, reference documents, engineering system usability, etc.)

Your background

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Familiar and have practical experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, and other applicable software.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-motivated with a high level of creativity.
