Qualification:

u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or other relevant field (Required)
  • u2022 Advanced Degree in Business (Preferred) Tier 1 MBA (Strongly Preferred).

Responsibility:

Problem and Scope Definition:

-
  • u2022 Provide primary support for formulation of problem statement and definition of scope for her/his assigned area(s).
  • u2013 Work independently and bring thought leadership to bear in order to identify root cause of the issue.
  • u2013 Work with engagement management to define scope of work in context of larger project.
  • u2013 Construct problem statement to include problem description, those affected and benefits of solving the problem, and implications of not doing so.
  • u2013 Support the identification of project risks and mitigation.

Requirements Gathering:

:

  • u2013 Demonstrate exceptional requirement gathering techniques with minimal direction from engagement management.
  • u2013 Design, conduct and facilitate requirements sessions.
  • u2013 Organize and sequence requirements into a user requirements document.
  • u2013 Write wellformed, validated requirements and manage changes.
  • u2013 Use appropriate tools to record, track and manage requirements.

Business Analysis:

:

  • u2022 Review and analyze relevant documentation to ensure the understanding of an organizations function and capabilities.
  • u2022 Lead relevant research to increase understanding in support of developing comprehensive solutions.
  • u2022 Serve as liaison between stakeholdersu2014demonstrate understanding of clientu2019s structure, policies, and operations.
  • u2022 Logically structure recommendations and supporting data to formulate a solid, logical and understandable business case.

u2022 Utilize appropriate business modeling techniques to represent and graphically depict various activities, processes and data These could include:

  • u2013 Business process modeling.
  • u2013 Process flow modeling.
  • u2013 Data flow modeling.

Engagement Delivery:

  • u2022 Deliver exceptional engagement delivery support.
  • u2022 Develop and managing project plan(s) as needed.
  • u2022 Identify and manage engagement risks for area of responsibility.
  • u2022 Independent of close supervision, develop high quality deliverables that are u201Cclientreadyu201D the first time.
  • u2022 Proactively share ongoing point of view and perspectives based on experience/expertise.
  • u2022 Display strong listening and communication skills when interacting with client and team.

Engagement Governance:

  • u2022 Develop governance and communication plans that facilitate smooth delivery of project.
  • u2022 Provide engagement lead with consistent and frequent updates through written and verbal communications.
  • u2022 Effectively track and/or escalate project risks and issues.

Thought Leadership:

:

  • u2022 Independently research industry trends and support to shape innovative ideas and opinions for practice thought leaders.
  • u2022 Actively contribute to research, development and authoring of consulting mindshare ie articles, whitepapers, and other collaterals via traditional and social media channels.

Business Development:

:

  • u2022 Support RFI/RFP responses and other business development opportunities as needed.

Customer Relationship Management:

:

  • u2022 Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholder(s).
  • u2022 Be seen as a u201Cgo tou201D resource that client wants to bring back for future engagements.

Practice Development:

:

  • u2022 Draw conclusions from market/industry trends and client experiences to support in the design and build of new go to market service offerings.
  • u2022 Support service line development and case study support through the gathering of industry best practices.

Revenue Management:

:

  • u2022 Ensure personal utilization targets are achieved by working standard hours and actively seeking new opportunities well before current engagement ends (if possible).

Knowledge Management:

:

  • u2022 Assist in creating client and/ or practice related materials (deliverables, solutions, industry best practices, standards and other knowledge artifacts) to Cognizant's knowledge management repository.

People Management:

:

  • u2022 Actively support recruitment for campus candidates through preplacement discussions.
  • u2022 Help to onboard and mentor junior associates.
