Job Purpose And Overview

Due to Appfire's exponential growth, we are seeking a talented and highly self-motivated professional to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will be working with a high-performance team that designs and delivers enterprise-class software products and solutions in the Atlassian landscape. There will be many opportunities to showcase your deep technical knowledge, keen analytical skills, proficiency in written communication, as well as your interpersonal and organisational skills. You will participate in the technical analysis, design and development of Appfire's Business Intelligence and Reporting apps.

What You Will Do

• Hands-on technical design, development, and code review of solutions and maintaining Appfire's products.
• Carry out feasibility analysis and provide effort estimation.
• Perform root cause analysis of software defects, working with a complex codebase.
• Improve the functionality, reliability, performance, and usability of the Software Products.
• Comply with good software engineering principles, including but not limited to standard coding, documentation, version control, and testing practices.
• Experience with development lifecycle and Working closely with other team members in an Agile development environment.
• Work efficiently with minimum supervision.
• Excellent collaborative attitude to be able to work with peers as well as QA, Support and Product Management
  
  
  

Requirements:

What We Would Like To See

• You have a B.E/B.Tech in CSE, EE, EECS, MIS, or a comparable discipline.
• You have 7+ years of professional software development experience in Java, and Spring Boot.
• You can be an architect and design solutions for complex business problems and integration issues.
• You have development experience with ReactJs, Javascript, TypeScript and Web UI technologies including HTML5, CSS4, and jQuery.
• Proven Experience with Node.js
• You have technical aptitude and experience working with JSON, XML
• Experience on AWS Cloud is desirable.
• You are eager to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex design and coding challenges.
• You enjoy understanding and debugging someone else's code.
• You like to work as a valued team player in a fast-paced environment in small teams.
• You are a self-motivated multitasker.
• You enjoy thinking out of the box to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
