- Install, commission, and troubleshoot pharmaceutical machinery and equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues with machinery and equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to identify and implement product improvements and modifications based on customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, spare parts usage, and customer communication.
- Train customers and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment.
- Stay updated on new product developments, technical advancements, and industry trends in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing service activities at customer sites.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for service calls and installations.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the service team, including troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing training as needed.
- Manage service budgets, expenses, and resources effectively to optimize departmental efficiency and profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical manufacturing and service operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in service management or a similar leadership role, preferably in the pharmaceutical machinery or equipment manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing service team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in service management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g., GMP, FDA regulations) is preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer visits and service-related activities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
