Role Overview Description :

As a Senior Golang Engineer at P99soft,you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our backendinfrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual tojoin our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing,developing, and

maintaining high-performance and scalablebackend services in Golang. Collaboration with cross-functional teams,contribution to API development, database design, and championing security bestpractices are essential aspects of this role.

As a Senior Golang Engineer, you willactively participate in code reviews, contribute to the overall improvement ofour development processes, and help pave the way for ourbackend roadmap to align with business goals and user expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services in Golang.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate our web service into third-party game clients.
• Communicate progress regularly and seek clarification on requirements when necessary.
  
  
  

API Development:

• Design and implement HTTP APIs to support SDK-related functionalities for game studio partners.
  
  
  

Database Design:

• Design scalable database collections and queries.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency and hands-on experience with databases, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing, aggregation framework, scaling, sharding, and transactions.
  
  
  

Security:

• Implement and champion security best practices in the backend architecture.
  
  
  

Roadmap Paving:

• Contribute to the development of the backend roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations.
  
  
  

Code Review:

• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and promoting continuous improvement in our development processes.
  
  
  

Requirements :

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Software Engineering Experience:

• 4+ years of professional experience writing software.
  
  
  

Golang Experience:

• 2+ years of experience building Golang applications.
• Experience with AWS SDK, Kubernetes, and Redis is desired.
  
  
  

Database Mastery:

• High level of proficiency and hands-on experience with databases, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing, aggregation framework, scaling, sharding, and transactions.
  
  
  

Self-Sufficiency:

• Ability to work with limited supervision across different time zones.
• Strong communication skills to provide regular progress updates and seek clarification on requirements when necessary.
  
  
  

Adaptability:

• Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.
  
  
  

Communication:

• Effective communication with remote team members, both written and verbal.
• Provide progress updates and flag potential roadblocks while fostering positive and productive working relationships.
