Hybrid Working
Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, anchor, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction
. The qualified role holder will support Tuning and List functions, which would include tuning the bad volumes out and ensuring we are screening against the right lists, and other related processes.

What will you be doing
. To work on tuning components like FMM (FircoSoft MultiLaw Manager) to write/modify/delete exceptions or list entries (both public or private)
. Carry out impact assessment of any new list entries prior to their GO LIVE and tune any high impacting entries.
. Work effectively with UK Tuning team to complete principle testing for any new principles being developed and also completing the annual testing of all implemented principles.
. Evaluating trends from the historic volumes and suggesting solutions to avoid the repeated false alerts thereby increasing the STP rate.
. Liaise with Compliance team to take any approvals needed for any list entry to be suppressed or for any short rule to be written.
. Support any retrospective screening or re-screening activity being carried out at back of any issue/gap.
. Identify, initiate and implement tuning or list enhancements and improvements across the business, driving culture of efficiency, whilst remaining effective against policy
. To cater to all ad-hoc requests from the project and leadership team within the timeframe like Re-screening or any manual screening
. Responsible for regular knowledge transfer from the UK tuning team in order to keep exceling on their existing skill set
. Regular communication with UK tuning team to keep a regular traction of the ideas/suggestion in the pipeline

What we're looking for:
. Minimum 1 year experience in Financial Crime Operations domain like Payment/Customer Screening, KYC, Adverse Media or Transaction Monitoring.
. Strong analytical skills.
. Extensive Working knowledge/Understanding of End-to-End payment flows.
. Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point.
. Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
. Graduate in any discipline.

Skills that will help you in the role:
. Any exposure on FircoSoft applications like FMM, FML & FircoSoft Continuity.
. Any exposure or knowledge of tools like SQL, Python, Tableau would be an added advantage.
. Any certification on screening like CGSS (Certified Global Sanctions Specialist), ICA (International Compliance Association) or ACAMS (Certification of Anti Money Laundering) would be a value-add.
