Associate Editor/Editor/Sub-Editor Job Description
Associate Editor Working on syndicated feed/news wire from PTI, Reuters, IANS etc. Should have experience with real time news flow Editing/rewriting/curating news/agency wire. Exclusive content - articles, features opinion pieces. Editor/Sub-Editor Develop story or content ideas, considering reader or audience appeal. Monitor news-gathering operations to ensure utilization of all news sources, such as press releases, wire services etc. Select local, state, national, and international news items received from wire services, based on assessment of items' significance and interest value. Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability. Must have excellent command over English language, possess strong news sense, good editing skills.
