Job Description (Posting).

Automation Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating and maintaining automation platform and solutions to streamline and optimize our IT infrastructure operations. Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop scalable solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
10+ years experience working with Scripting languages Powershell, Python and Bash/Shell Scripting.
10+ years experience on orchestrator tool Ansible (AWX/AAP), vRO/vRA, MsScorch etc.
5+ years - Design and implementation automation solutions for provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and management of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
5+ years of exp. in Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Good understanding and experience on observability and AIOPS.
Good understanding and experience on AI/ML technologies.
Collaborate with IT operations, development, and security teams to define automation requirements, identify key pain points, and prioritize automation initiatives.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and scripts using industry-standard technologies and methodologies.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of automation platforms, tools, and technologies to support the organization's automation objectives.
Drive process improvements and standardization through automation, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability across the IT infrastructure.
Establish metrics, KPIs, and monitoring capabilities to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives and track key performance indicators.
Provide technical guidance, training, and support to IT teams on automation best practices, tools, and techniques.

Education Qualification: BE/ B.TECH/ B.Sc./ M.Sc./ MS/ M.Tech in CS or IT
Strong experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for IT infrastructure operations.
Strong expertise in infrastructure automation tools and technologies, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify automation opportunities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc., are a plus.
