Job Description & Summary
A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our Finance Systems and Processes team supports PwC’s financial systems business operations processes and alignment with strategic vision. You’ll focus on providing Finance systems representation on projects, handling production issues, conducting trend analysis of tickets for enhancements as well as assisting in managing inventory for all Finance systems and tools.

Job Description
Main purpose of the job and key background information
- Core accounting and finance function for PwC SDC Kolkata.
- Will be part of a team responsible for account closure and financial analytics related function.
- May be sharing responsibilities for Taxation (indirect and direct) for PwC SDC Kolkata
- Operations of various key verticals of Finance such as P2P, R2R etc
- Adhering to Indian Accounting standards (Ind AS)
- Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by working as a team member, understand personal and team roles and contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members and proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback
- CA/ CA Inter with minimum 3 years of experience
- Core accounting and finance experience with exposure to managing account closure and financial analytics.
- Should have good knowledge in
- Indian Accounting standards (Ind AS)
- Financial analysis through excel
- Taxation (indirect and direct)
- Financial Operations such as P2P, R2R etc.
- Shall be willing to take independent responsibilities and able to work under tight deadlines.
