Quality Assurance Engineer / Game Tester Key Responsibilities
Use standard testing methodologies to develop and execute test plans including system, regression, performance, and stress testing
Write test plans for our games, develop manual test cases and scripts, and execute testing manually for a multitude of devices
Document defects using a bug tracking system
Work closely with development team to ensure that defects are rectified
Conduct usability testing sessions for our games with children in our target age-groups and provide actionable feedback to the development team
Contribute to recruiting new talent, as per the organisations needs
Minimum Qualifications
Passionate about working for a social cause and making a huge difference to the lives of underprivileged kids in developing countries
At least 2 years of software QA experience
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools
Extreme attention to detail
A scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude and drive that gets high-quality projects done quickly
English proficiency spoken and written
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1 years of experience testing iOS and Android games and apps
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience conducting usability testing sessions with end-users
Experience working with a distributed team
