As a QA Engineer in our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through a combination of manual and automation testing. Your responsibilities will include:
Test Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Leverage your expertise (4+ years) in developing and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks for software applications.
- Ensure the scalability and efficiency of automated testing processes.
- Manage test environments, ensuring they are properly configured and reflective of production conditions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Uphold high standards of software quality through a strong sense of ownership.
- Balance the need for fast execution with the establishment of scalable testing practices.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the testing process.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks for functional, regression and performance testing of software applications.
- Proficient in designing, developing and executing manual and automated test cases and test scripts for new features and functionality.
- Experience in managing test environments and maintaining up-to-date documentation of test plans and results.
- Collaborate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.
- Strong sense of ownership and focus on upholding high standards
- A collaborative attitude, team player, friendly, with passion and flexibility to learn new tools and skillsets
- Wholesale or eCommerce industry experience
- Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with load and performance testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
- Knowledge of security testing and tools.
