Application Support Engineer - SRS
Store Replenishment Systems (SRS)
Position Summary
The SRS (Store Replenishment Systems) team is looking for an Application Support Engineer to support applications and reporting solutions related to Store Replenishment, Forecasting, and Inventory Management.
This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are interested in working with enterprise applications, databases, and supply chain systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, developers, and support teams to investigate issues, analyze data, and ensure smooth operation of critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities
Provide application and reporting support for Store Replenishment, Forecasting, and Inventory Management systems.
Monitor application performance and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
Analyze data and investigate incidents using Oracle SQL.
Support Linux-based applications and batch processes.
Assist in identifying root causes of issues and documenting findings.
Create, update, and manage incidents, service requests, and change records in ServiceNow.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve application and data-related issues.
Participate in issue triage, testing, and validation activities.
Communicate issue status and updates to team members and stakeholders.

Escalate issues appropriately based on impact and urgency.
Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
Utilize Git for version management and Jira for tracking tasks and project activities.

Required Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Oracle SQL.
Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Exposure to Shell scripting is preferred.
Familiarity with databases and data analysis concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Customer-focused mindset and willingness to take ownership of issues.

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, or Git through coursework, internships, or projects.
Understanding of Supply Chain, Retail, Inventory Management, or Forecasting concepts.
Internship experience in application support, software development, data analysis, or related areas.
Knowledge of ITIL concepts is a plus.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
