Lead II - Software Engineering

We are looking for a strong Technical expertise in Zuora Billing (preferred) or Amdocs Billing Systems to support subscription management, payment processing, and billing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting subscription-based billing platforms.
Candidates with Zuora experience are highly preferred, as they typically already possess knowledge of payment systems and subscription lifecycle management. Candidates with deep expertise in Amdocs Billing will also be considered, as they can be effectively upskilled to Zuora.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain solutions in Zuora Billing platform
Configure and manage subscription lifecycle, product catalog, pricing, invoicing, and payments
Implement and support payment integrations (gateways, collections, refunds, etc.)
Work on Zuora APIs, custom workflows, and data integrations with upstream/downstream systems
Perform billing operations support, troubleshooting, and enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Engineering)
Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and performance of billing systems
Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities
Required Skills & Experience
Primary (Preferred): Zuora
Strong hands-on experience in Zuora Billing / Zuora Subscription Management
Good understanding of: Subscription lifecycle (creation, amendments, renewals, cancellations)
Billing, invoicing, and revenue processes
Payment integrations and gateways
Experience with Zuora APIs, workflows, and integrations
Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and middleware tools
Familiarity with finance/billing concepts (invoices, taxation, revenue recognition)
Secondary (Alternate): Amdocs Billing
Strong experience in Amdocs Billing Systems
Solid understanding of: Telecom/enterprise billing concepts
Subscription and payment systems
Ability and willingness to transition to Zuora platform
Technical Skills
APIs & Integrations (REST/SOAP)
SQL and data handling
Scripting or programming knowledge (Java, Python, or similar is a plus)
Experience with cloud/SaaS platforms
Understanding of payment gateways and financial systems
Experience Level
5-10 years of relevant experience in billing systems
At least 2+ years in Zuora (preferred) OR strong Amdocs experience
