  • ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
  • Processing all Gold Loan login cases from branches and supporting Gold Loan customers at branch level
  • Will do cross sell other product to Gold Loan customers.
  • To facilitate Repayment, Renewal, Closer and Fore closer of Gold Loan along with new loan procession at branch level.
  • Responsible to maintain process quality & ensures adherence to internal audit standards for Gold Loan.
  • Will act as back-up for BOO and CCR at branch and will responsible for their job in their absence (For All branch formats: BB-led, MB-Led, URC and SFB).

  • KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Business/ Financials

  • Responsible for acquisition of Gold Loan customers from both NTB walk-in and ETB customers at branch level.
  • Engagement of Gold Loan customers and responsible for cross sell of other products.
  • Support the marketing initiatives designed by products & marketing department for Gold Loan.
  • Assess the market potential/trend and give feedback on product modification and new product development to the product teams
  • Share insights on competitor products to the product team.
  • Responsible for the overall cross sell target assigned to him for other products.

Customer

  • Ensure customers and branch team to be educated about the Gold Loan product offered.
  • Marketing & branding of Gold Loan to be done at branch level
  • Resolve customer queries/grievances at branch level (pertaining to Gold Loan)

Internal Process

  • Oversee and facilitate collection of documents for Gold Loan processing.
  • Ensure the proper handling of Gold ornaments as per policy standards.
  • Responsible to ensure the storage of Gold ornaments in safe vault after loan processing.
  • Handle the relationship with Gold Appraisers at branch level for loan processing.
  • Responsible to facilitate the Vigilance team at time of sample check.
  • Follow-up for the Loan renewal of Gold Loan through calling.
  • Oversee follow-ups with overdue and renewal customers to collect the payments/renewal payment in Gold Loan.
  • In absence of CCR, will process all the Service Request and resolve the quires of all customers at branch level.
  • In absence of BOO, will act its back-up for all operational activity.
  • Responsible to maintain good coordination with Gold Loan Officer for processing the all leads of Gold Loan with in suggested TAT.
  • Should be compatible with Financial Software application Like LOS, Br.net, Finacle etc.
  • Ensure smooth operations for Gold Loan and Busimoni at branch at cashier and BOO level.
  • Monitoring the leads status, and ensuring timely closer.
  • Ensure all operational work of channel partners to be done smoothly at branch.

Learning & Innovation

  • Coach the branch staff on Gold loans products and support generating leads for that from existing customers.
  • Resolve queries and escalations from the branch team related to Gold Loan in a well-defined timeframe.
  • Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self.
  • Ensure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happens within specified timelines for self.
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Educational

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce/Business/Economics or related subjects with good analytical and sales skills to be considered.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in Gold Loan Industry or within Ujjivan

Certifications

  • NA

Functional Skills

  • Knowledge on Gold Loan and OD products
  • Basic Computer knowledge (MS Office, Outlook) / Ease of technology usage
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance administration desirable
  • Is fluent in the local languages and has a working knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of KYC/AML norms and other guidelines
