Full Stack Developer (Python)

Apistride is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team in Kozhikode.

We are looking for a hands-on developer who is comfortable working across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud environments. You will work on an existing production application, develop new features, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to building reliable and scalable software.

Experience working with SaaS products or platforms will be an added advantage.

This is a 100% full-time onsite position in Kozhikode, Kerala.

• Develop, maintain, and improve frontend and backend application features.
• Build responsive, reusable, and maintainable frontend interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.
• Work with relational databases, data models, queries, and database migrations.
• Work with asynchronous processing, background jobs, caching, and application workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, authentication services, and external platforms.
• Troubleshoot frontend, backend, API, database, and production issues.
• Work with applications deployed in an AWS cloud environment.
• Write clean, secure, scalable, and production-ready code.
• Participate in Git-based development, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment and maintenance.

• Asynchronous Python programming for handling concurrent operations and improving performance

• PostgreSQL as the primary relational database system
• SQL for complex queries, data manipulation, and reporting
• Alembic for database migrations and schema versioning
• Redis for caching, session management, and real-time data handling
• Celery for background task processing and distributed job queues

• AWS for cloud infrastructure, deployment, and scaling
• Docker for containerization and consistent development environments
• Git & GitHub for version control and collaborative development
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment workflows

• REST APIs for structured client-server communication
• Webhooks for real-time event-driven integrations
• OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) for secure authentication and authorization
• Third-party API integrations for extending platform functionality and connecting external services

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
• 1–3 years software development experience
• Strong in TypeScript and Python
• Experience with React / Next.js
• Backend/API development experience (Python)
• Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture
• Familiar with Git and team workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with existing codebases and fix issues independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to haves

• Experience with commission or financial platforms
• Familiarity with LLM integration / AI features
• Experience with authentication/role-based access systems
