Role Summary

Perform inbound receiving, quality validation, documentation review, material release, and inventory status-control activities within defined procedures and customer requirements. The role involves inspection of inbound scanned images and documents to ensure materials are accurately received, traceable, compliant, appropriately segregated, and released or escalated under moderate supervision. Expectations from this role:

1. Work as an individual contributor across inbound receiving, quality inspection, material release, and inventory-control activities under moderate supervision.

2. Receive purchase orders, transfer requests, customer inventory and returns using approved tablet or system-based processes.

3. Validate tracking numbers, transaction types, purchase orders, item and PO lines, quantities, lot or batch numbers, storage requirements, and supporting paperwork.

4. Inspect incoming shipments for identity, quantity, packaging condition, damage, leakage, mixed lots, labeling, required markings, and customer-specific requirements.

5. Review and categorize inbound documents including packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of conformity or analysis, safety data sheets, and other quality records.

6. Use images, documents, catalog data, purchase-order requirements, and QVR (Quality validation record) information to verify product description, manufacturer part number, packaging, lot, dates, and shelf life.

7. Enter and validate manufacture, shipment, packaging, receipt, and expiration dates when required, and escalate unclear or conflicting data.

8. Identify nonconforming, damaged, expired, missing-document, catalog, shelf-life, or quantity exceptions and communicate them promptly to Quality, Purchasing, Customer Operations, Transportation, IT, or other designated teams.

9. Maintain accurate electronic records and follow segregation-of-duties, customer, quality, safety, and controlled-document requirements.
