Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and development applications using Core Java/Swing for Medical Devices domain.
- Design and development SPA application using Angular and React.
- Should be able to understand/learn architecture and design of existing enterprise applications developed mainly using Core Java/Swing, but also having components developed in C++, Perl, and Python etc. and develop cost effective and sustainable solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes and enhancement activities.
- Technical communication with internal and external stakeholders will be part of job.
- 5-8 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks.
- Strong experience in developing Linux/Unix based desktop applications using Core Java.
- Strong experience in UI development using Java Swing.
- Experience in Spring/Spring Boot.
- Hands on experience in Angular.
- Hands on experience in using HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Medical Device development experience.
- Deep knowledge in Object-Oriented concepts and experience in implementing the same using Java.
- Unit testing experience using JUnit or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
- Good knowledge of software design patterns and UML.
- Experience in developing software applications for Medical Devices domain CT, XR, MR, Common Platform, DICOM standard.
- Hands-on experience in RDBMS and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good knowledge of TCP/IP networking and network services such as DNS, SMTP, DHCP, FTP, SSH, Telnet, etc.
- Familiar with tools like WinScp, Putty, Rally, ClearQuest, Clearcase, Collaborator, SVN, ALM, JDICOM/DVT/DCMTK.
- Ability to explore large code base and understand architecture and design.
- Ability to deliver without much supervision from lead/managers.
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
